NCA is a ternary cathode material system widely used in high-performance lithium-ion batteries, with a chemical formula typically of LiNiₓCoᵧAl𝓏O₂ (where x + y + z ≈ 1), mainly composed of nickel, supplemented by cobalt and aluminum. The NCA materials have high energy density, long cycle life, and good thermal stability, and are widely used in electric vehicles (EVs) and energy storage systems.
