In practice, power batteries are used as the drive batteries in e-bikes, industrial equipment and power tools. Unlike “energy” batteries (which focus on total capacity and long runtimes), power batteries deliver energy more quickly and can sustain very high discharge rates. In other words, they provide bursts of power exactly when robots, forklifts, drones and other highdrain systems need it. LiFePO4 chemistry is common here because it safely handles heavy power loads and recharges quickly, enabling continuous operation in demanding environments.
