Coating is a key link in anode manufacture of lithium-ion battery. Good anode material can directly affect battery capacity and other performances.
The so-called coating refers to composite membrane made through coating paste polymer, molten polymer or polymer solution on film. To lithium-ion battery, film to coat is metal foil, generally bronze foil or aluminum foil.
The whole coating process includes several continuous processes from film in coating machine (film in )to coated film out of coating machine (film out).
Factors or parameters that affect anode coating performance on Lithium Battery involve: 1. diameter of film in and film out; 2. effective roll width and max coating width; 3. coating method and speed; 4. coating depth and precision; 6. drying temperature.
If a coating machine could do well in this six aspects, then it can pass whole process flow, achieve good production result and lay a foundation for manufacturing high-capacity lithium battery. This is because lithium battery charge is actually a course, where lithium ions move to anode. The better the anode material, the more the lithium ions can be accept, which behaves high capacity and full power on lithium battery.
