On December 3, 2019, Zhou Gang, the doctor of the LARGE POWER Special Lithium Battery Institute led Dongguan Large Electronics Co., Ltd, team in Fengtai District of Beijing Zhongguancun Emerging Industrial Park, won the award of the fourth session of China Innovation Challenge and the third session of Zhongguancun Emerging Field Project on "- 40 degrees low temperature charge and discharge of lithium iron phosphate battery" solutions.
The tournament dominated by National Ministry of Science and Technology. According to the fourth session of China Innovation Challenge and the third session of Zhongguancun Emerging Field Project regulations and the overall scheme, on-site expert assessment in each division, real time score and the demand side comment, the final result is strictly approved by the leader of the Competition Organizing Committee. The competition is highly professional and innovative, which makes a huge social influence.
Zhou Gang, the technical leader of the "- 40 degrees low temperature charge and discharge of lithium iron phosphate battery", graduated from the School of Physics and Microelectronics of Hunan University and got his doctor degree.He is good at lithium-ion battery technology research. After graduation, he engaged in postdoctoral research of Powder Metallurgy in the Institute of Central South University. Dr. Zhou has been worked for several senior scientific research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation, Hunan Natural Science Foundation Youth Project, Special Supporting Cooperation Projects, sub-project of the National Key Basic Research and Development Program(“973” project), etc.
