How to Distinguish Original Lithium Battery

As people's life standard improves, electronic products, e.g. mobile phone, notebook, digital camera, video camera, etc, have widely applied to daily life. Lithium ion Battery plays a great part in these high-tech consumer products. Currently, most electronic products in the market are powered by lithium ion batteries instead of Ni-MH batteries, therefore, some illegal manufacturer claims to use lithium ion batteries but actually what they use are Ni-CD batteries or NiMH batteries. In this case, how to distinguish them?

In un-professional condition, please refer to method as below,

a. Same capacity battery, the weight of lithium ion battery is lighter than Ni-MH or Ni-CD battery.

b. Use Lithium Battery charger to charge for battery, if battery get heat, it will be Ni-MH or Ni-CD battery, lithium battery charge temperature will be normal.

c. Connect battery cathode with anode, lithium battery will run out of electricity volume; for Ni-MH or Ni-CD battery it still has electricity volume remains.
